Events

Who should attend a Solution Tree event? You! Thousands of educators from a variety of schools and districts have benefited from attending Solution Tree events. Whether you are a superintendent, principal, curriculum director, or classroom teacher, you are guaranteed a full professional learning experience that offers essential frameworks for improved student performance.

Do I need to have a team to attend a workshop? No—but we recommend it! Research suggests attending with a team allows you to apply your learning more seamlessly; however, if your team can't make it, you can always bring the event or speakers back to your school or district.

Will a workshop be worthwhile for me to attend as an individual, or should I wait until I can register a team? While most workshops include built-in team time, many individuals attend with a train-the-trainer approach and plan their presentation during team time.

How do I cancel my registration? Email cancellations between 10 and 30 days prior to the event require a $50 processing fee per person. Cancellations less than 10 days prior to the event will receive no refund. Substitute participants are most welcome. To cancel a registration, email events@solutiontree.com.au .

In-School Support

I've never planned a professional learning day. Where do I start? Give us a call and we will guide you through the booking process. Our team will match you with an expert who can address your school or district unique needs.

What are the costs? Costs vary by expert, and travel and accommodation expenses are often included in the price. We'll work with you to create a sustainable plan that's budget friendly.

Will I be able to contact the expert before my professional learning date(s)? Absolutely! After the contracting process is complete, we'll put you in touch with your expert to plan for your date(s).

What can my staff do to prepare? We're happy to recommend relevant books, videos, webinars, and other resources to help your team prepare for your date(s). Your expert may also have suggestions.

Are resources included with the professional learning date(s)? In most cases, resources are not included in the price. We're happy to work with you to select materials that complement the focus of your professional learning.

How far in advance should I book my professional learning? We book dates as far in advance as two years and as close as two weeks before. Generally, a variety of factors, such as the time of year, the expert's schedule, etc., affect the process.

What's the best way to follow up a professional learning date(s)? Our Collaborative Online Learning Sessions are a wonderful platform for following up with an expert.

Am I responsible for making my expert's travel arrangements? No, our experts handle their own travel arrangements.
